Denver-born trumpeter Kenny Warren has been active in New York’s improvised music scene since 2006. His playing is rooted in jazz and draws heavily from American and international folk music traditions. He has released two LPs with his songwriting outfit Laila and Smitty which Bird is the Worm described as “massively genuine and unabashedly heart-on-the-sleeve open and honest”. He also leads The Kenny Warren Quartet which was featured in the Festival of New Trumpet Music (2016) and whose debut album Thank You for Coming to Life is released on Whirlwind Recordings.

Teemu Mustonen is a percussionist and improviser originated from Oulu. Teemu has studied jazz music in Malmö university and Sibelius Academy Helsinki.

Jukka Kääriäinen is a Finnish musician specialised in experimental and free improvised music. Jukka’s instruments vary between plain acoustic and prepared guitar to back bag of pedals, live-electronics and bowed electric guitar. Alongside solo concerts Jukka has been collaborating with musicians like Teppo Hauta-Aho, Kalle Kalima, Roomet Jakapi, Pauli Lyytinen, Emilio Gordoa and Paul Pignon.
