Thiago Genthil saapuu Free Fall Nights -klubille perjantaina 25.8. klo 21:00–4:00

Brasilialainen laulaja-lauluntekijä Thiago Genthil on saanut oppinsa samban ja bossa novan alttareilla Rio de Janeirossa. Kahden levyn julkaisemisen lisäksi hän on esiintynyt niin New Yorkin klubiskenessä, Tukholman konserttitalolla sinfoniaorkesterin solistina kuin Java Jazz Festivaaleilla Indonesiassa.

Tämän kertainen Euroopan kiertueensa ulottuu myös Suomeen ja Free Fall Nightsin esiintymisessä koetaan ainutlaatuinen kohtaaminen Thiago Genthilin ja Kalevi Louhivuoren johtaman Free Fall Nights -bändin kanssa.

Thiagon musiikki yhdistää sambatraditiota ja rituaalirytmejä jazziin ja funkiin. Hänen sydämellinen persoonansa huokuu musiikistaan bändiin ja yleisöön asti.

Thiago Genthil is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a degree in classical guitar by Villa-Lobos Music School who gained international experience in the years he spent in Europe, playing in England, Italy, Latvia and Indonesia at International Java Jazz Festival representing Brazilian Music, where he had excellent critics review.

The first CD was released with his own compositions with great reception in Brazil and Europe.
His show is full of energy with a feel of Brazilian-Carioca Swing with influence from Jazz, Samba and Bossa-Nova he developed a singular rhythm which will be played in concerts around the world, together with the release of his second CD.
In 2014 he made a tour in Europe including Stockholm Concert Hall, Vienna and Slovenia.
