Kokkolassa vuonna 1986 perustettu Wentus Blues Band julkaisee syksyllä uuden albuminsa ja esiintyy tapauksen kunniaksi G Livelabissa yhdessä legendaarisen kitaristi-laulaja Duke Robillardin (s. 1948) kanssa. Suomen kansainvälisesti arvostetuimpiin blues-kokoonpanoihin kuuluva yhtye on äänittänyt uuden täyspitkän albuminsa Lakewest Recording -studioilla Robillardin kotikaupungissa Rhode Islandissa. Ahkerasti keikkaileva Wentus Blues Band valtaa G Livelabin lavan lokakuussa.

Established in 1986, The Wentus Blues Band is all about explosive blues and frantic rhythm and blues, played with laid back stylishness. They’ve acquired a reputation as the hardest working in Scandinavia and play around 150 gigs a year. Here they celebrate their upcoming studio album with the legendary singer/guitarist Duke Robillard.
