Pianisti Jason Moran on 1990-luvun lopulta saakka kuulunut kiinnostavimpien ja luovimpien jazzmuusikoiden terävimpään kärkeen. Historiatietoinen innovaattori on kuljettanut musiikkiaan vuosien varrella yllättäviin suuntiin ja haastanut jazzmusiikin status quota lähes joka osa-alueella. G Livelabiin Moran saapuu jo lähes klassikkoyhtyeen statuksen saavuttaneen The Bandwagon -trionsa kera.

Since his formidable emergence on the music scene in the late 90s, pianist Jason Moran has proven more than his brilliance as a performer and established himself as a risk-taker and innovator of new directions for jazz as a whole. In almost every category that matters Moran, and his group The Bandwagon have challenged the status quo, and earned the reputation as “the future of jazz”.
