Sveitsiläinen huippusaksofonisti Christoph Irniger tuo Pilgrim-yhtyeensä Helsinkiin ja G Livelabiin. Maailman seuratuimpia jazzfestareita ja huippuklubeja tällä hetkellä kiertävä kvintetti edustaa eurooppalaisen jazzin terävintä kärkeä, ja Irnigerin levyt maineikkaalla Intakt-levymerkillä ovat saaneet osakseen ansaittua suitsutusta.

The quintet Pilgrim, founded by Zurich based tenor saxophonist Christoph Irniger, is one of the most exciting ensembles in young European Jazz. Pilgrim plays full of verve, with plenty of room for spontaneity and improvisation and demonstrates on these recordings impressively their pulsating music.
“The group’s versatility, its clever approach of dealing with contrasts and its full sound make it a group to take into account internationally.”
London Jazz News
“Pilgrim is a high-achieving unit, as the end results prove to be immensely satisfying.”
